After 2 long years of waiting (thank you COVID), my godsister got married in Sedona. We turned this into a family trip and soaked up some desert scenery that is hard to find in Canada. We saw a beautiful mix of orange-red sand and vivid greenery, thriving in the hot, arid air.
A pervasive theme throughout the red, sandy deserts was the large caves and valleys—shaped by water and wind—and a respect for the land.
My dad took us to a restaurant off the Vegas strip and it was truly an incredible culinary experience (for those who eat meat).
